This is a new Bosch, OEM supplier to Volkswagen, vacuum advance control unit for the ignition distributor.


This is a double diaphragm unit with both advance and retard diaphragms.


The Bosch number is 1-237-121-885 or 07-101 short number.


The Volkswagen part number is 021-905-271-B, however it does not appear to be available from Volkswagen any longer.

This distributor vacuum advance / retard unit will fit the following models of Volkswagen:

Type II (2) Transporter - 1972 - 1700 Bus - Manual and Auto Trans.


Type II (2) - 1700 - Transporter - Automatic Transmission
